Bank Holiday Monday
The August Bank Holiday was probably the busiest day of the Season here in Llandudno, the town centre, promenade and pier were absolutely jam packed with people. Good to see everyone enjoying themselves and all the town's traders doing well.
Peter, it looks very quiet because I waited 10 minutes for there to be no-one in the shot and even then I had to crop one side of the photo to get rid of a few people! Believe me, it was packed. Your suggestion of 'moving the seats forward' isn't really viable as the seats are actually bolted onto the top of a concrete wall, which would all need to be demolished and rebuilt!!
Less congratulations to your first poster 'peterbees' for raising that hoary cycle track issue again.
For goodness sake, get off your bike and WALK down the prom, instead. Llandudno's finest asset is the promenade and if you mess with that it's all over. (Colwyn Bay's cycle track should be a waqrning to us all)
All I can say is photos from a skillful hands. Wonderful! Also planning for a vacation in a holiday cottage uk. Hope to also capture beautiful scenery like yours. Really enjoy reading your blog. Thanks!
The promenade looks quiet in your picture. Plenty of room for a cycle track if the seats were moved forward. Come on, let's get it done!
